When we started toying around with the idea of bringing back the Monster Challenge for 2011, I decided to put myself in the shoes of our potential participants – the bike you see here is the result. Great job! I am sooo far away with my own bike from such a level of perfection" ;-) I had my own set of rizoma footpegs delivered and was wondering if i would have to change the tube for the brake fluid from the pump to the reserve canister? Or were you able to use the original one?

Damn Arrick that bike is bee-e-a-u-tee-ful.

I especially love the open belt look.

Other then the gold swingarm Im in love.

Can I ask, do you have an idea what it might cost if an average guy like me wanted to duplicate it?

@andreamarco, I used the original, but I cut it shorter.

@wantingaduc, I have yet to calculate the total cost of the build... however, I will be posting a list of the mods soon which should give you a good idea.

Nice looking bike and great attention to detail! Just curious about the lack of mirrors and turn signals, those are typically things that break up the visual lines of motorcycles and you've left them out. I'm wondering how you came to the final design. Not trying to sound like I'm criticizing - the thing is absolutely the sickest monster I've ever seen.

@mtotha3, I will be adding a Rizoma Spy R Mirror (or two). As for turn signals, the rear is integrated and I am looking into some very stealthy led options for the front.

Looking at your exhaust system, are those termi's the same ones I have with the normal slip-on+ECU+air filter add on? I can't see how they attach to the DP pipes, almost looks like they are welded as a single unit?

@jimmieshear, Rode it in on Monday and have been walking to work since. I plan to ride over the hill tomorrow to get her weighed at Moto Italiano in Santa Cruz. Looking forward to a “real” ride.

Arrick, I like the looks of the Termignoni full exhaust system, ... does it have a different ECU than the one that comes with the Termi cans? Also, it looks to me like at the track when you ride with the tips of your boots on the pegs, that your boot would get seriously burnt by the pipes on the right side, and it seems you would have to keep your foot on the peg in the "around-town mode"?

The full exhaust does have a different ECU.

As for foot placement, these rearsets put my heels on the carbon heat guard for the cans when riding on the balls of my feet. It actually works out well if you have the full exhaust with the heat guards. I was going to leave them off because I like the look of the pipes, but on my first ride I melted the heel of my boot... Decision made.

Hey Arrick, I saw your amazing bike on the Island and I couldn't figure out what kind of turn signals you had on it. The front and rear ones looked so low-profile and sleek. Are they just as visible as the stock ones?
