I think the panini is a sweet lookin bike w a ton of major style and engineering changes but ...... Just like all replacements could grow on us I still have to hold my heart to the style of the 1098 and 1198 jmo
Yes, I agree with you on all that. Except I've found it easy to adjust to the wet hydro-clutch since my 848 EVO has it and its much more livable in the city. As well as more time between service intervals. Definitely better for shorter "motoGP" sized chaps like myself. The exhaust is WONDERFUL!
I test rode it 2 days ago.Like that exhaust won`t cook my legs, position seems more compact and slightly comfy especially for short riders, revs higher but power doesn`t come as aggressive as on my 1198S. Miss Trellis frame, no dry clutch????(mixed feeling) and is so tiny....... I still love classic look of 1198, tank shape and crazy torque it produces. i`m definitely not trading mine for 1199 but I think it will sell really well :)
