Nancy's (aka SUPERMONKEY)'s Houston Superbikes Edition supermonster!
My wife Nancy's 2008 1100s Houston Superbikes Edition...
She bought this bike since it is more upright than her 06 Xerox 999R and easier to ride with her chest port. She is battling stage 2 breast cancer.

Last 6 months have been a little crazy so have not been active in the community. I really need to share with everyone what is on my mind and has been for a few months. Ryan Danger (winner of the 2011 Monster Challenge) reached out to my wife and explained that she had really unique and cool Monster and more importantly was an inspiration that she found a way to ride her Ducati through her cancer treatments, stay positive and continue to live life to the fullest as she fights this deadly disease.
Ryan worked it out with the great people of Ducati North America and gifted to Nancy the Ducati Experience Trip to Italy! Ryan did not want to publicize this....but really; a genuine gesture like this cannot be ignored.
Ryan is a one of a kind guy and really helped motivate and lift Nancy's spirits through some of the really really dark times during her Chemo, Radiation and Surgeries, One thing we never dream of would be the truly amazing people we would be lucky to meet through this disease.
Nancy is currently working with Ducati North America on setting a date for this summer to go to Italy....I just hope she takes me with her....she better!
Thank you Ryan Danger and DNA.
Supermonkey for the win! I love this bike, and glad it went to a great home!
Praying for both of you. Keep fighting strong and know that you will beat this!
Hey Matt, Nancy, awesome Duc, looking really nice - the devils definitely in the details. Heaert felt best wishes to Nancy, and to yo Matt, in the days, weeks, months, and I sincerely hope, the many happy years ahead. Matiu
Nancy and Matt;
Great looking Ducs (three now?) and I will be thinking of good thoughts for the both of you during your battle with "C". My wife was diagnosed 5 years ago and we feel lucky that we have each other. Sounds like you have a great relationship and that can be the best medicine of all!
Wishing you the best,
Joe

Awesome Bike for an awesome chick! I've had several family members go through this if you have any questions. Nancy will be in my Prayers!
Keep smiling and fighting “like a girl.” Hopefully, we’ll see you both in Indy.
Would love to see some more photos of the bike.
